Dance Programs

Creative Dance Program
Ages 2-3 learn basic skills in coordination, movements, and memory. This will allow students to move to the next level and work on a routine for our year-end recital.

Introduction to Ballet/Tap

Introduction to technical terms, foot and body placements. This is the foundation for more advanced ballet and tap.

Ballet I
Students continue studies in principles of ballet. Basic barre and centerwork. An introduction to combinations and working towards the recital.

Ballet II
The continuation of fundamentals and more advanced combinations.

Tap Classes

Tap I
Students study on principles and combinations of tap. Some ballet training is very helpful for tap classes.

Tap II
More advanced tap combinations. Ballet training is required.

Jazz Classes
Teaches fundamental jazz steps to contemporary music. Students learn the necessary elements of jazz which will help in coordination and balance. These two skills are crucial to their success in other dance styles.

a Hip Hop Classes
Hip Hop is a fast, higher energy type of dance seen in music videos and commercials. Jazz training is recommended and will be helpful in learning the hip hop moves and routines.

Adult Jazz and Hip Hop Classes
Students in our adult classes learn moves and routines in a casual atmosphere. Our instructors understand the needs of adult students and approach the class diferently from childrens programs. Many of our adult students use our jazz and hip hop programs for fitness and a social activity.

Recitals
Parents are given 2 free tickets year to our year end dance recitals and can purchase additional tickets if they wish. This is the high point of the year for students and parents and a fun time is had by all.
